Elizabeth Turner (née Swann) was born in London, England to Weatherby Swann. When she was a little girl, Elizabeth made the crossing from England to Port Royal in the Caribbean. Years later, several run-ins with pirates set her life on a different course, as she became a tomboy female pirate. Later, during the War Against Piracy, she would become Pirate Lord of Singapore when Sao Feng passed on his piece of eight before his death. During the meeting of the Fourth Brethren Court, Elizabeth became the new Pirate King of the Brethren Court. She was married to longtime love interest William Turner during the final battle with the East India Trading Company. She avenged her father's death when they won the battle and killed Lord Cutler Beckett. After the war, Elizabeth and Will conceived a child shortly before Will serves aboard the Flying Dutchman for ten years.
